How do I bring Stainless Steel back to it’s original shine?

Stupidly, I set a Stainless Steel saucepan on “high” and walked away. Twenty minutes later the homemade chicken soup had boiled dry discoloring the exterior and interior. I’ve tried Comet, dishwashing liquid and a scrubbing pad. It’s usable but obviously doesn’t match the set. Any suggestions?

there is a cleaner called Bar Keeper….buy (at grocery store)- use it..it will restore the shine
